Michael J. Hall. “The Aging Funnel as a framework for demand timing and physiological recovery.” Conceptual Perspective submitted to Nature Aging on October 11, 2026. The manuscript asks whether the interval between physiological demands adds useful information beyond total exposure and discusses WellSkor ai as a proposed longitudinal measurement implementation. Its analytical examples and synthetic calculations do not establish patient-level validity, a biological-age score, or clinical utility. Define the aim
Begin with what matters to the person, the clinical question, the baseline, the desired outcome, and the time horizon. Improvement is not defined by a score alone.

Measure four dimensions
Keep outcome, process, balancing and safety, and patient experience and equity visible as separate evidence. Completing an activity is not proof that it caused an outcome.

Plan · Do · Study · Act
Test one manageable, clinician-reviewed change; observe benefit, burden, and variation; then continue, adapt, pause, or escalate through shared review.

Preserve the learning record
Retain source, method, timepoint, uncertainty, corrections, rationale, approvals, and the next reassessment so each cycle can be understood and audited.

Improve the system too
Use data-quality failures, delays, access barriers, patient comprehension, and workflow friction to improve how WellSkor ai itself operates—not only the patient's plan.
